Bronx organization helps kids in need get the necessary school supplies

About 300 Bronx kids received much needed school supplies thanks to one local organization.

The Citizen's Advice Bureau helps families who don't have money for school supplies. At its annual rooftop party Friday, the organization distributed the supplies to those kids in need. The kids also got to play schoolyard games such as jump rope and hopscotch at the party. A computer donated by Fordham University was also raffled off.

The organization says it will continue to expand the program as long as donations keep coming in.
