Security enforcement causing students to miss class

Parents in one north Bronx neighborhood are questioning the Department of Education's commitment to public schools. They are concerned that their children are not getting a complete education.Students at the Richard R. Green Middle School in Williamsbridge are individually screened by security on their way into the building. Long lines have forced many of them to miss the first part of their school day. Security aids were recently added to reduce the lines and help get children into the building quicker. Department of Education officials say are taking measures to help students get to class on time.
