Parents protest at St. Philp Neri school over the lack of books for their kids

Parents say their kids are forced to share books at St. Philip Neri.On Friday morning, parents protested outside St. Philip Neri Catholic School. They claim their children are forced to share schoolbooks, and that teachers sometimes have to make photocopies of materials for the kids to use.

The parents say they paid $175 in book fees in February on top of the money they pay to send their kids to the school. They say the school had ample time to order books for all the students, who need to prepare for state exams in January.

The principal finally met with parents Friday afternoon and told them their kids would get books in two weeks.
