3-month-old twin girls found dead in Morris

Police in The Bronx are investigating the deaths of two twin baby girls in Morris. Police say they received a call at around 1:30 p.m. and discovered them on the 20th floor of a high-rise apartment building on Webster Avenue.

Neighbors say the 3-month old twins moved into the building with their parents only several days earlier.

Police locked the apartment and carted away bags of evidence. The parents are believed to be in custody.

The medical examiner's office could determine the cause of death as early as Thursday.
