Mayor Bloomberg takes a tour of the Bronx

The mayor started his trip to the Bronx at a Co-op City middle school.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg met with school officials and students at a middle school in Co-op City. He spoke to the kids about education and of course the Yankees.

The mayor then headed to the Highbridge Homes, a new complex for middle and low-income families. The project broke ground during the Mayor Guiliani administration.

After spending time at the Highbridge Homes the mayor spoke with seniors in the Bronx and then headed to the Fulton Fish Market. Mayor Bloomberg took part in a ceremony to mark a milestone in the construction of the fish market.

And finally, the mayor made his way to watch the Yankees take on the Red Sox.
