Mayor's anti-graffiti task force hard a work in the Bronx

Residents were happy to see anti-graffiti crews cleaning up on Bathgate Avenue.

The mayor's anti-graffiti crew was busy cleaning spray paint off of the sides of buildings. Valerie Davis O'Neal, of the Community Assistance Unit, says when residents walk by they say finally this is getting cleaned up. She says residents tell crews that the graffiti is an eyesore.

While some see the graffiti as art, others see it as vandalism. One resident says the graffiti is disgusting and belongs on paper not on walls and buildings.

The anti-graffiti crew visited nine locations in the Bronx on Thursday, covering areas from Pelham Parkway to Webster Avenue.
