Halloween Party and Parade in Throgs Neck

Residents attended the longest Halloween parade in The Bronx Saturday afternoon. People of all ages showed off their costumes at the 17th annual Halloween Party and Parade in Throgs Neck.

Superheroes and princesses were among the favorites. Many dressed-up residents said they made their one-of-a-kind costumes at home. Mayor Michael Bloomberg showed up for the festivities and spoke with kids along the parade route. Residents say the party is a great chance for the community to come together.

NYPD representatives were on hand at the parade offering safety tips for the holiday.
