Tracey Towers tenants may soon be faced with rent hike

(11/08/03) MOSHOLU PARKWAY WEST - Thousands of Bronx tenants could soon be faced with a rent hike. People living at Tracey Towers may get a rent increase of 31.5 percent over three years.

They have not had a rent increase in 15 years, but many tenants say they simply cannot afford to pay more money. Other Bronx residents say management does not deserve to get more money since their apartments rarely get fixed.

Officials from the management company for Tracey Towers, R.Y. Management, reportedly say they need the money to fix the problems about which Bronx tenants complain.
