Joint effort underway to bring Puerto Rican exports to the Bronx

The Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation is working to bring Puerto Rican exports to the area.

As part of the BOEDC's effort, Puerto Rican business owners attended the 1st Annual Puerto Rican Expo. Some of the products on display at the Bronx County Building Thursday were coffee, candy, cereal and different types of drinks.

Business owners who attended are hoping that importers from the Bronx and other boroughs will be interested in importing their products.

The expo was part of a joint effort between the BOEDC and Puerto Rico. Their mission is to help Puerto Rican businesses boost their sales and to give Puerto Rican Bronx residents the products that they enjoy.
