Police in the Bronx target traffic violators in Operation Move Along

Police in the Bronx are cracking down on traffic violators this holiday. Anyone who parks illegally by blocking an intersection, bus stop or fire hydrant will get a ticket. Police are also cracking down on drivers who are not wearing their seat belt, or who are speeding or talking on a cell phone while driving. Police say the ticket blitz is not intended to meet a quota, but to keep traffic moving as the holiday season begins. The zero tolerance policy, known as Operation Move Along, will be in effect throughout New Year's Day.
