Police in the Bronx investigate bodega robbery and shooting

Police are investigating a shooting at a Bronx bodega that they say was the result of a robbery. According to police, the shooter came into the Valdez Grocery on E. 165h Street Thursday, displayed a gun and demanded money. There was a struggle and then a shot was fired, hitting the 48-year old clerk in the abdomen. The clerk was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment.
