Missing Bronx girl found safe; man taken into custody

A Bronx teenager was found safe Monday after her family reported her missing last week.

Sylvania Cordova, 15, was reported missing by her family on Thursday, but thanks to one man she was found. Edwin Roman spotted the girl in his building on 168th and Brook Avenue and recognized her from her picture on TV. He immediately called police, who then found Sylvania with a man. According to police, the man was taken into custody while they investigate what happened.

Sylvania's family says they are happy that she is home safe.
