Clay Avenue residents feel the strain of affordable housing construction

- Folks who live along Clay Ave. aren't opposed to the construction of affordable housing. Their upset that their housing is being impacted by the construction.

Austin Black tells News 12 The Bronx that crews work outside her apartment for 12 hours a day, six days a week. Black says the crew working on a new housing project even punched a hole in her wall accidentally.

While Black and the construction company squabble over who will fix the damaged wall, and when other residents of Clay Ave. are hoping their lives can get back to normal, and they can welcome new neighbors to a peaceful neighborhood.
