Little League holds citywide opening day

Sunday marks the official opening day for thousands of Little League ballplayers around the city.

Kids stretched and prepared for their big day at Tremont Park during a beautiful, sunny day. The first pitch was thrown at noon.

The players from all over the city have one thing in common: they all just want to play some competitive baseball.

Little League games will continue to be held every Sunday throughout the summer.
