School bus brings Bronx boy home two hours late without explanation

A Bronx mother is furious after her son's half-hour bus ride home from Goose Bay Nursing School took two and a half hours. Cindy Badillo tells News 12 The Bronx that a bus driver had no explanation after he dropped off 3-year-old Sean more than two hours late. Badillo says she asked the driver where he was and he simply replied, "It's not my problem. What do you want me to do?"

News 12 called the company but they had no comment. An official at the Goose Bay School describes the bus company as a "staging company." The school's education director says the company is selected by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and can't be fired by Goose Bay. She is encouraging parents to call the DOT to complain.

Badillo says the bus company told her that the driver would be fired.
