Belmont apartment residents continue to live without hot water

Last week's arctic chill caused pipes in the Twin Park apartment building to burst leaving many residents without hot water. The leaks have been fixed, but there is still no hot water in the building.

According to one resident there has been no hot water for several weeks, and some apartments also have no cold water.

News 12 The Bronx contacted RY Management and confirmed that poor insulation and extreme cold caused the pipes to burst. They also said plumbers are working on the problem, and are trying to restore hot water to the residents as soon as possible.Arctic blast wreaks havoc on plumbing at a Belmont apartment building
