Con Ed looking into cause of power outage in Marble Hill

Hundreds of Bronx residents had partial or no power Monday for more than two hours.

Con Ed says 9-15 and 29 Adrian Avenue lost partial power along with 104, 110 and 135 Terrace View Avenue. At 172, 174 and 176 Terrace View Avenue power was completely lost. And at 150 W. 225th Street tenants say it was tough getting to apartments on the upper floors without the use of working elevators.

Several Con Ed crews were sent to the scene to work on the problem. Eventually Con Ed had to close a switch on a transformer to restore service.

The cause of the outage is still under investigation.
