Riverdale residents living on Tulfan Terrace fighting the invasion of high-rises

Some Tulfan Terrace residents are continuing to try and preserve their area by stopping high-rises from being built.

Riverdale is an area known for having one-family homes and some apartments, so the idea of having high-rises going up is not sitting well with some residents. They say they like their area and don't want to see it change. Unfortunately they say it may already be too late.

Tulfan Terrace residents say a developer is looking to build high-rises on their block, which only has eight homes. Some of the homeowners have already sold their homes to pave the way for the developer while others are still thinking about what to do.

So far, high-rises are being built just down the road from Tulfan Terrace on Oxford Avenue. Residents say it has changed the character of the neighborhood.
