Construction on the Third Avenue Bridge causing delays & frustration

Whether it's a rainy weekend or your weekday commute, travelers to Manhattan by way of the Third Avenue Bridge say it can be hit or miss.

Traffic enforcement officials say motorists may find themselves waiting for quite awhile.

The construction on the Third Avenue Bridge is part of a $500 million plan to reconstruct eight bridges running over the Harlem River.

Renovations are said to be ahead of schedule and are expected to be complete in the spring of 2005.
