Police in the Bronx searching for man linked to two rapes

Police say DNA evidence has linked a man to two rapes that occurred last year.

Police say the suspect is wanted for raping and robbing a 39-year-old woman on the roof of a building on Creston Avenue in September of 2003. According to police, the suspect is also wanted for a rape that happened in October 2003. They say that incident took place in an area covered by the 41st Precinct.

Police say the suspect has a scar on the left side of his face and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
