Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day parade a success

Hundreds of Bronx residents, along with New York City Mayor Bloomberg, lined the streets of Throgs Neck this afternoon to watch the sixth annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. According to parade organizers, over 1,500 people marched to show their pride and sense of community.

Throgs Neck residents in attendance say they wanted to show their support for family members in the parade. Organizers say this parade is the biggest they've had so far, and they expect it to be an even bigger event next year.
