Bronx soldier returns home after nearly one year of fighting in Iraq

After fighting in the war on Iraq for almost one year, a soldier from the Bronx returned home.

As a soldier with the 101st Airborne Division, Carlos Lopez was in Iraq for almost one year. While overseas, Carlos would write e-mails and letters to stay in touch with his family.

Carlos doesn't want to say goodbye to his family but on Sunday he will because he is returning to his base in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He will begin training for the possibility of another mission in Iraq.

Lopez says he plans on making a career in the military.
