George Washington finishes 3-game sweep of the Rams in college baseball

The Rams hosted George Washington in the final game of a 3-game series.

A win for the Rams would have kept them above the 500 mark in the Atlantic 10 conference. Unfortunately for the Rams, they fell short.

In the bottom of the 7th, the Rams were down 5-1 when Greg Smith crushed one to deep right but didn't get all of it. A 2-run shot by George Washington put the Rams further in the hole with the score 7-1. George Washington went on to win 9-3, sweeping the 3-game series.
