Bronx parents protest the removal of principal at CIS 313

Parents gathered outside CIS 313 Thursday to protest the removal of the school's principal.

Education officials say they are investigating the principal, who was told to pack his belongings and leave the school on Tuesday. Parents say the principal was a good influence on their children. One parent says his child used to get failing grades but says because of the principal his kid now gets 80s and 90s.

Sources tell News 12 The Bronx that the principal may have been removed because of personal conflicts with some teachers due to his tough leadership style.

Education officials say they will decide whether or not the principal can return once their investigation is complete.
