Bronx teen charged with shooting brother inside a Gleason Ave. apartment

Police say a 15-year-old boy was handling a gun inside an apartment at 2009 Gleason Avenue when it went off and hit his brother Monday night.

The 13-year-old boy was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with minor injuries and is listed in stable condition. Police have charged the teen with criminal possession of a weapon and assault.

So far, police do not know how the gun got in the apartment and whether or not anyone else was in the apartment at the time of the shooting.
