Junior Knicks Program holds championship day in the Bronx

The Junior Knicks Program is a 14-week program that teaches kids the game of basketball.

The program includes instructional clinics for kids ages 6 to 18. At the end of the tournament, kids in the 9 to 11 and 12 to 14 brackets take part in a tournament, which was recently held at Jacobi Medical Center. The Mavericks won the 9 to 11 bracket and the Cavaliers took the title in the 12 to 14 bracket.

Allan Ray and Curtis Stinson are just two of the college hoop stars who got their start in the Junior Knicks Program.
