Clinton High School hosts Howard Richter Memorial Track and Field meet

About 1,400 athletes from more than 70 high schools in the Bronx, city, Long Island, Westchester and upstate New York gathered for the annual Howard Richter Memorial Track and Field meet.

The event was named for Howard Richter, a former student, track star and coach, after he passed away.

At this year's meet, Rashaud Scott from Truman had a great performance in the boys' shot put. In the boys' 4X110 relay, Clinton and Truman had a little outside smoke with Cristian Moyer of Clinton finishing in 43.87 to win. Over in the girls' 4X110 relay, the team from Hempstead, Long Island dominated.
