Lady Rams look to pull the upset of the year against top seed UMass Amherst

The Lady Rams looked to pull the upset of the year against UMass Amherst in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championships. The UMass Minutewomen are 9-time defending conference champs.

UMass' weapon in the game was top league pitcher Kelli Arnold who threw a 1-hitter against the Rams earlier in the month. In 8 innings of play, Arnold kept the Rams quiet, leading her team to a 1-0 victory.

Fordham now goes on to play 2nd seed Temple.
