Kennedy Knights look to crown the Patriots on the volleyball court

The Kennedy Knights are on a mission this season to make it back to the finals. After easily beating the 30th seed team, the Knights went up against the 14th seed Lafayette Patriots in Round 2.

The Knights, who are the 3rd seed team, wore matching socks and shin bands for team unity. Lafayette started strong and jumped out to an early lead. But the Knights came back and took Game 1 by a score of 25-17.

Kennedy kept the pressure on in Game 2 leading the game with 10 kills. The Knights went on to win by a score of 25-15.

The Knights will now go on to play 6th seed Grover Cleveland in the quarterfinals.
