12-year-old missing Bronx girl may have left home with someone she met online

Police are now looking into the possibility that a missing 12-year-old Bronx girl may have left home to meet someone she met online.

Alexia Casey was last seen with her friend Tuesday. Detectives looked through Alexia's computer and say they found chats between her and a man from Brooklyn. They believe Alexia went to meet the man.

Alex Figueora, Alexia's father, says his worst nightmares are coming true. He says that he always warned his daughter not to meet or talk to strangers from the Internet. Figueora says he even set up parental controls on the computer.

Alexia is about 5' 3" tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and bandana, blue jeans and white slippers. Anyone with information is asked to call 48th Squad detectives at 718-299-4119.
