Police officers from the 41st Precinct make a special delivery in the Bronx

A Bronx woman is a proud mother of four Wednesday after two police officers helped deliver her baby in her car.

Police officers Leniece Akins and Ramon Hilario from the 41st Precinct were on their way to deliver mail to a precinct near the Pelham Parkway. That's when they noticed a man trying to flag them down because his wife was in labor. The officers immediately jumped into action and helped bring a healthy baby boy into the world.

Both baby Aidan and his mom Tania are doing fine at Montefiore Medical Center.

It was the first time either of the officers had delivered a baby and say they learned how by watching a training video when they joined the force.
