Best players in the city take to the basketball court at Hostos College

Although it's baseball and softball season, basketball is never far from the hearts and minds of those in the Bronx. The Sports Foundation recently hosted the annual Exceptional Senior Girls game at Hostos Community College.

The Catholic and private schools went up against the PSAL. The catholic and private school team had to get help from the PSAL to fill its roster before the game could proceed. Kennedy's Niki Avery went over to the other team and had 2 assists and a game high 25 points.

Despite Avery's effort, the PSAL did not trail once in the game and went on to win 81-65. Bronx resident Shannon Bobbitt was named the games MVP.
