New HIV/AIDS campaign targets the Bronx Latino community

A new HIV/AIDS campaign is underway in the Bronx and is targeting the Latino community.

As part of the campaign called "For you, For all of Us," free screening for HIV and AIDS will be available throughout the Bronx and city. The testing will run until Saturday, June 26.

According to the group Hispanic AIDS Forum, HIV cases have increased by nearly one third in gay Latino men. HIV cases among Latina women are also up by half. The group hopes the new campaign will raise awareness among Latinos.

For more information on free testing call (212) 563-4500.
