Borough president officially launches Bronx at Work Campaign

The borough president officially kicked off his Bronx at Work Campaign Tuesday. He says Bronx Week is the perfect time to launch his new initiative that's aimed at helping unemployed residents find jobs.

Borough President Adolfo Carrion Jr. first announced the Bronx at Work Campaign during his State of the Borough speech in February. The new initiative helps Bronx residents find jobs via the Internet and phone database. Carrion also wants to create job training for residents looking for jobs.

In addition, the Bronx at Work Campaign looks to bring more businesses to the Bronx and help reduce red tape for small business owners.
