Bronx athletes looking to score big at summer NBA pro leagues

Bronx athletes are looking to score a chance in the big leagues by taking part in two of the summer NBA pro leagues currently underway.

St. Ray's graduate Ernest Brown is averaging 7 points and 6 rebounds in his first two games for Boston Celtics. And over in the Minnesota summer pro league, Former Fordham star Smush Parker is playing for the expansion Charlotte Bobcats.

In a recent game, Parker was 1 for 3 from the field, scored 6 points in 12 minutes, and had 4 rebounds. Although he turned the ball over three times, Charlotte went on to win 81-76.
