Bronx activists meet with city leaders on plan to bulldoze community gardens

Bronx activists continued to voice their disapproval over a plan to bulldoze community gardens at a meeting Tuesday with city leaders.

The activists met with representatives from the city's Department of Housing, Preservation and Development hoping to find out which gardens would be torn down to make way for housing. But according to those in attendance that information was not provided.

The plan to demolish community gardens is part of an urban development agreement to build new housing and parks.
