MTA to release preliminary budget that may include some cutbacks

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will release its preliminary budget on Thursday and it could mean more bad news for straphangers.

Bronx commuters say they would not be happy if those changes were to be made.

The MTA's final budget plan will not be put into place until December.
