Bronx Tennis Classic back on track after matches rained out

Action at the Bronx Tennis Classic was back in full swing Tuesday after some matches were rained out Monday.

In the men's 1st round, 7th seed IVO Heuberger from Switzerland defeated Peter Luczak from Australia in three sets in a match that was suspended Monday. Also, top seed Daniel Elsner from Germany and 6th seed Alexander Peya from Austria both upset, losing in straight sets.

In other action, Eric Taino from the U.S. went up against Sweden's Bjorn Rehnquist, who ended up winning in straight sets. And Roko Karanusic from Croatia beat Cecil Mamit from the U.S. to advance to the 2nd round.
