GHI Bronx Tennis Classic players look for chance to advance to quarterfinals

Second round action wrapped up with some players happy to move onto the quarterfinals.

In men's action, Janko Tipsarevic from Serbia and Montenegro, the only seed left in the men's draw, both advanced to the quarterfinals.

Over in women's action, top seed Stephanie Cohen-Aloro is upset by Marie Eve Pelletier from Canada in straight sets. Nuria Llagostera from Spain beats Anna Chakvetadze from Russia by winning the third set in a tie breaker. And Aiko Nakamura from Japan, who upset 8th seed Virginie Pichet from France in the first round, beats Jessica Lehnhoff from the U.S. in straight sets.
