Bronx coaching legend accepts new job

Former Bronx basketball coach Lance Tejada has a new job. After leaving Monroe College, he has been hired by FIT as their new head coach.

Coach Tejada is fondly remembered for leading Wings Academy to the city "B" championship in 2002 and was named coach of the year by the Basketball Coaches Association of New York state.

He follows in the footsteps of another Bronx basketball coaching legend, Charles Jackson, who left Monroe for FIT as well.
