Lehman's Lady Lightning volleyball team comes up short in season opener

The Lehman Lady Lightning took on St. Joseph's of Brooklyn in what was the first match for new head coach Edwin Gonzalez. Last year, the team made it to the CUNYAC finals before losing to City College.

Lehman with eight players on the roster, four of whom are new to the program. The lack of experience was obvious in Game 1 as the Lightning fell 30-20. In Game 2, St. Joseph's went up two games to none after winning by a score of 30-22.

Although the Lightning took Game 3 by a score of 30-23, they couldn't hold on in Game 4 falling 30-16. Lehman begins the season 0-1.
