City Board of Elections numbers show low voter turnout in the primary election

A Greenwich family is claiming that the Greenwich Police Department mishandled the investigation into their son's death in January.

The State Medical Examiner ruled that 19-year-old John Bria III died from an overdose of heroin and cocaine. His parents, John and Peg Bria, say they and the Greenwich Police Department have evidence that may suggest otherwise.

The Bria\222s have hired private investigator Vito Collucci, known for handling the Skakel and Jason Williams trials, as well as nationally known forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden. They argue that the general attitude towards their son's investigation is that he did it to himself. Therefore, no arrests were made and a proper investigation was not conducted.

In addition, the medical examiner in their son's case, Dr. Arkady Katsnelson, retired in April after admitting to taking a $300 payment from a civil attorney.
