Fordham Rams football team beats MAAC power Duquesne in high-scoring game

(09/25/04) FORDHAM - The Fordham Rams hosted MAAC power Duquesne Saturday afternoon. It was the first meeting between the teams since 1970, and the Rams had never lost to Dukes.

After winning their last two games on the road, Fordham was looking to win its third straight game and its first this year at Jack Coffey Stadium.

Thanks to Tad Kornegay's three interceptions on defense and Derric Daniels' five touchdown passes on offense for the Rams, Fordham beat Duquesne 41-34 to move to 3-1 on the season and stay perfect all-time against the Dukes.
