Freeman Street subway station open for business after three months of repairs

Trains are back on track at the Freeman Street subway station Monday after it was closed in July for much needed repairs. The improvements include a public address system, repaired stairs and better lighting. Many riders who use the station say they now feel safer thanks to the increased lighting.

One barbershop owner in the area, however, says the three-month closure may have permanently damaged his business. He's hoping the station's reopening will bring customers back.
