Con Edison says Bronx residents can expect increase in natural gas prices

For the second year in a row Con Edison officials say low natural gas supplies are leading to an increase in heating costs. Residents who use natural gas to heat their home or apartment can expect to see a 13 to 15 percent increase form last year. Con Edison officials say they will work with anyone who cannot afford the increase. Propane gas and home heating oil prices are also on the rise in the Bronx. Officials say increases range from 17 to 28 percent.
