Fordham Prep hosts Holy Cross in semifinals of soccer championships

It's been 13 years since Fordham Prep and Holy Cross have played one another. That's until the two squared off for the semifinals of the Catholic League Intersectional Soccer Class A Championships. The Rams haven't won the city title since 1991 when they beat Holy Cross in the finals.

In the first half, Holy Cross got a free kick and Anthony Matos perfectly placed it into the corner of the net, making it 1-0 Crusaders. But Prep came right back to tie it up.

With less than seven minutes to play and the game all tied up, Holy Cross' Kevin Kelly headed one past Prep's goalkeeper. Holy Cross wins 2-1.
