Study finds rodent problem persists in the BX despite control program

A new study released Friday by the city's Department of Health finds that the rodents in the Bronx are proving to be particularly tough.

The Bronx is known for having the worst rodent problems in the city but a rodent control program was supposed to take care of the issue. The citywide rodent control program is made up of 20 city agencies including the Department of Sanitation, the Housing Authority and the Department of Housing, Preservation and Development.
