Transportation officials urge Bronx travelers to think smart while on the roads

As travelers in the Bronx get set to hit the road for the holiday, transportation officials warn to be cautious.

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) says to stay safe this holiday, travelers should wear seatbelts, plan driving routes, allow plenty of time to get where they need to go and avoid drowsy driving.

More than 37 million people nationwide are expected to travel at least 50 miles to get to their holiday destination this year.
