Windy, rainy weather expected to make for a messy commute in the Bronx

Howling winds and pounding rains made for a messy morning commute in the Bronx Wednesday and are expected to last through the evening rush.

Forecasters are predicting an inch of rain to fall by the evening and wind gusts may reach between 45 to 55 miles per hour. Bronx commuters say they are worried about the ride home.

A wind advisory will be in effect for the Bronx until 10 p.m.
