Wings player shoots for the stars in game against Gompers

A Wings player was shooting for the stars in the team's home opener against Gompers.

Rasheem Jenkins, who is a junior, needed only nine points to hit the 1,000 mark, and he did in a game dominated by the Wings. The Wings were up 61-31 and in the end proved to be too much for Gompers. They went on to win 76-44.

Jenkins was honored at the end of the game for hitting 1,006 career points.
